In this paper, we study the fundamental limits of simultaneous information and power transfer over a Rayleigh-fading channel, where channel input is constrained to peak-power (PP) constraints that vary in each use by taking into account high-power amplifier (HPA) nonlinearities. particular, three-party communication system considered, transmitter aims simultaneously conveying an receiver delivering energy harvesting receiver. For special case static PP constraints, information-energy capacity region associated distribution under: a) average-power at transmitter, b) HPA nonlinearity c) circuit By extending Smith’s mathematical framework, show optimal under those discrete with finite number mass points. We significantly reduces region. addition, derive closed-form expression capacity-achieving for low regime, there no trade-off between transfer. time-varying characterize using Shannon’s coding scheme.
